Heels for Hope

One in 58 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetimes. Because there is not yet a dependable early warning test for ovarian cancer, most cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, well after the cancer has spread beyond the ovaries. Once diagnosed, the survival rate for this disease is less than 50%. Increased funding for ovarian cancer is desperately needed in order to develop an effective early warning test and treatment.

2011 Heels for Hope Zumbathon

The first annual Heels for Hope Zumbathon was a huge success.  We are planning on making it an annual event, so start making plans to attend next year.  Of course, it would not have been possible without the generous assistance of our volunteer Zumba instructors.  You're the best and we truly appreciate your time and effort.  Don't forget to check out the pictures on the Zumathon page.
